Edulux is a platform for organizations that provide student transportation: schools, school districts, and transportation service providers that operate and manage their own vehicles.

It brings planning routes, running them live, managing drivers and their paperwork, and billing into one place. Drivers and attendants use the Edulux Driver app, and students' parents and guardians use the Edulux Parent app.

One platform from start to finish. Onboarding drivers, planning routes, running them live and invoicing happen in one place, with no spreadsheets in between.

No GPS hardware. The driver's phone is the tracker, so there's nothing to buy or install in your vehicles.

A steady live map. Bad GPS readings are filtered out, so vehicles move smoothly instead of jumping around.

Routing on real roads. Times and distances come from the actual road network, and you can drop a new student onto an existing route and see the new times before you save.

Paperwork, digital and private. Driver's licenses, vehicle registrations, background-check documents and other paperwork are kept in secure digital storage, with their expiry dates tracked. Only your company can see them; no other organization has access.

Easy to learn. Big buttons, plain words and few taps, for drivers on their first run and for the office alike.

No. The driver's phone is the tracker, using the Edulux Driver app on iPhone or Android.

Yes. Import the route sheet you already use, build routes from an accepted estimate, or draw them in the route builder.

Yes. Location is shared only during a trip, from Start driving until the trip ends, which is also what we tell drivers.

Only your company's own users, each with their own sign-in, two-step verification and a role you choose. No other company can see your students, drivers or routes.

Enter the organization code your company gave you, then the mobile number they have for you.

The six-digit code arrives by text and works for 10 minutes. Wait a minute before asking for another; each number can request three every 15 minutes.

Install Edulux Driver and sign in. Your account works on one phone at a time, so the old one is signed out. If the app says the phone is used by another driver, ask your dispatch to free it.

Runs appear on Today once your dispatcher assigns them to you. Accept each one, then check in on the day. If a run you expect is missing, ask your dispatcher.

So dispatch can see the vehicle during a trip and stop arrivals are recorded. It's shared only from Start driving until you end the trip, never on your own time.

"Allow all the time" (on iPhone, "Always") is optional. It lets the app keep sharing if your phone closes it mid-route.

Keep going. Stops you record are saved on your phone and sent when the signal comes back.

Open the Edulux Parent app and enter the email address you gave your child's school, school district or transportation service provider. A verification email with a code will arrive shortly. If your email address isn't recognized, ask your transportation service provider to check the email address they have for you.

Your children appear once your transportation service provider has your contact details on their record. Each child is listed by name: confirm it's your child by choosing their school from the suggestions as you type, and entering their date of birth. If a child is missing, or their details aren't accepted, contact your transportation service provider.

Yes. Sign in on the other device with the same email address. We'll email you a verification code, and you'll get an email whenever a new device signs in. For another parent or guardian with their own email address, ask your transportation service provider to add them.

In the app, open settings and choose Remove my access. This signs out every device and removes your sign-in. Your transportation service provider keeps your contact details, as part of your child's record.
